We collect information you provide when using DishList, including account details such as your email address, profile information, dish lists, recipes, notes, images you upload, collaborator invitations, and support messages you send to us.

We may also collect technical information needed to operate the app, such as device identifiers, push notification tokens, app version, log data, and basic diagnostics.

  • To save, sync, display, and share your dishes and recipes.
  • To send app notifications when you choose to enable them.

If you share a dish list with another person, the information in that shared list may be visible to the people you invite.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide DishList, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can delete your account in the app settings. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account and associated app data from active systems, subject to limited backups or legal retention requirements.

Your Choices

  • You can update account information in the app.
  • You can disable push notifications in device settings or in DishList.
  • You can delete your account from the Settings screen.
  • You can contact us to ask questions about your information.

Children

DishList is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and post the revised policy on this page.
